    Wow! I guess it’s that rich mid-west soil. We tend to have over-sized bugs here but I have never seen a worm that big.

    Maddie would have given her life savings to borrow that worm from Liv at Liv’s age. Very, very nice.

    Also, does the title of this post mean she calls the worm “Cutie Pie”? I sure hope so, because that’s just about the funniest hing I’ve ever heard.

    Liv loves bugs and some time ago referred to worms as cutie pies. So yep, this is indeed a cutie pie—a big one but not the biggest we’ve seen around here. It does look fairly snake-like in these shots, though!

    A few years ago, my daughter dug around in our backyard and found a whole bunch of worms. She put them all into a cup. I thought she left them outside. Unbeknownst to me, I went into her room a few days later and there was a HORRIBLE smell. When I went to check, I found the cup of worms hidden in her cubby on her bedstand. I don’t think I’ll ever forget staring at that massive cluster of wriggling worms. But boy, did it make her room SMELL.
