Until now, I’ve avoided writing an About Me page because it seems too difficult to write a paragraph or two about myself that will be read by a variety of different people and interpreted a multitude of ways. However, that fear hasn’t stopped me from blogging! So forgive my meandering thoughts as I attempt to tell you about me.I am twenty-something female living in the Heartland of the good ol’ USA. I am a Christian who subscribes to PCA Reformed Theology, and I’ve been a part of the Zion Church since I was 14 years old. One summer day just before I began my freshman year at UNL, a handsome guy named Jeremy Tredway walked into the church office where I worked. We shared a small inside joke based on our lowly knowledge of the Spanish language and that began the most wonderful relationship of my life. We’ll go ahead and give some of our youth group girls (now no longer girls!) credit for “bringing us together” as youth group meetings and youth group planning meetings played a significant role in how we got to know each other. The following year found Jeremy in St. Louis at Covenant Seminary and me atop Lookout Mountain at Covenant College. One semester of long-distance dating convinced us that three more years of it just might kill us, so we married the following June on a beautiful, sunny, blue-skied Saturday.In St. Louis we began to realize who God had made us to be and how He intended us to work together. Long story short, Jeremy graduated from seminary and pursued his interest in computers. I graduated with a middle school teaching degree and we quickly moved back to our hometown. Now Jeremy works full-time as a web producer for a book publishing company and part-time doing freelance. I am currently fulfilling my lifetime dream as a mom of the cutest little being on earth.
There’s so much more to Jeremy and me than I can write in this space. So read and enjoy our blog and family website. Be forewarned: the blog will be updated far more than the website. And prepare yourself for more baby information than you’ve ever wanted to know and don’t say I didn’t warn you about the infinite amounts of cuteness you’ll see on the blog. Yes, she is just that cute.
