Posted by: Kristen on January 12, 2005 09:11 PMWow! I love this blog, especially for the pictures. You guys really know how to use a camera. I've never seen a bad picture here. Most of them are practically frameable. It's an art. It's a gift. I envy people who can take really good looking pictures.
Like this one.
Posted by: Keith on January 13, 2005 08:10 AMthat's an awesome picture! very pretty. i've always thought there is a certain honesty about self-portraits and this is no different. exotic, yet becca the whole time (note the hazel rings around her pupil).
(on an unrelated note: i want liva pictures in new xmas outfit... assuming she fits!)
Posted by: adam on January 13, 2005 10:16 AMThanks for the picture praise, friends! I'm kinda blushing here, but it's nice to see that you guys like this pic, too. I had forgotten that my Canon's viewfinder could be popped out and rotated. So thanks to Andrew (who reminded me how to use my own camera) and a quiet trip home from Omaha, I amused myself by taking self-portraits. The beauty of a digital camera is that I can throw away/ignore TONS of pictures in order to get one or two good ones.
Bry, my dad says I have my momma's eyes. Next up: capturing her eyes in an unusual shot. It'll be a good challenge!
