Yup, that's what our favorite 20 month old wordsmith has been calling me the past two days.
Between referring to me by my first name and her crazy mood shifts, I think she's hitting the teen years a little early.

Posted by: Sarah on January 21, 2006 01:03 PMI babysat the other night (for the first time in a while) and totally got a kick out of the little girl, who is just barely talking. I put her to bed and she fussed a tiny bit before giving in to fatigue. She cried alternately, “Maman! Lydie! Maman! Lydie!” (“Maman”, of course, is mama and “Lydie”, of course, is the French form of Lydia.) I was struck by what total sense it makes for the oldest child to use both.
