The December Photo Project

Okay. I'm in. But I'm not going to promise any words at all. Not even titles. :)

You know, before you even posted this I was thinking that I wanted to do some kind of thing like that. I hadn't decided yet, but since you mentioned, I think maybe I'll give it a try. Though, I'm going for overall average effect. If I miss a day, I'm not going to cry about it.

First snag: camera battery is dead, extra battery and charger are nowhere to be found. Hmm....

rebecca, i would love to. everything inside me right now wants to participate in this.
one snag: i don't have a digital camera! my slr is film and i love it. but just sometimes, like right now, i am wishing i had a digital, so i could sign up for DPP.

that being said, if anyone is not participating, but has the urge to let me borrow their digital for one month, i'd be on board in a second!

I'm out of battery juice, too, B. Yikes. Glad I discovered it tonight. ('Cuz, you know, the world would've ended if I had discovered it tomorrow.)

Fortunately I found the battery and the charger! Now my next question is, do the photos have to be Christmas-themed or is this just a general exercise in photography/blography?

General exercise. December offers a unique array of photo opportunities, plus it's one of my favorite times of the year, so there you have it.

Well I will be participating in JPP-January Photo Project since my digital is broken and I'm hoping for a new one for Christmas. Since January is usually a dull, colorless month, I'll consider it a unique challenge.

rt: there's a church office digital camera?!?!? i had no idea...who's in charge of it/who do i have to ask to get my mitts on it?

Sarah, you might ask Adam or Stu about that digital camera. It's been 2.5 yrs since I knew anything about it... That's like 10 yrs when it comes to church property.

hm, perhaps i'll participate sort of on my own, taking photos each day on my film, in the spirit of this project...of course, no one will probably see them, since i can't post them. it is the price i pay for not being technologically up to date, i suppose...ah well, it looks like karen's covering for the inklers, as far as the DDP, and i'll keep busy checking on all of these other blogs that are participating, yay!

Sarah, if you participate, even in film, I'd love to see your shots. Perhaps you could scan and post them sometime down the road...?

Well, we already do the Daily Fuller Fix and now I am participating in the Holidalies, but I look forward to your posts! It is so much fun.
