I'm Dreaming of...

Warm days at the beach where a cool breeze floats in off the waves and the sun creates more freckles on my face. Delicious entrees of fresh seafood -- crabcakes, shrimp, fish, clam chowder. Huge oaks draped with spanish moss, gravestones dating back several hundreds years, churches with historical significance.

St. Simons Island sounds lovely today.

and this is the off-season! would be nice and cool with only the occasional torrential rain courtesy carribbean tropical depressions... and mint juleps on wide porches with swings and rockers ...i'll save you a seat on the veranda, becca!

Actually, I'm all about the hot beach weather. Mmmm... When we were all there in June, the ocean water was actually warm. Dee-lightful. Save me a seat in any season, though... I'm craving fresh seafood.

You should come to Scotland instead - the beaches are white and sandy and instead of a warm, gentle breeze to ruffle your hair you get lifted and thrown by a freezing gale...What could be better?
