This blog has been woefully neglected in recent days. Its owner has been far too busy doing things like cleaning baby powder off of the floors of the foyer and re-rolling the remains of toilet paper strewn about the bathroom.
It’s a busy job, this toddler mommying gig.

I got to pick a BOOK, yes BOOK of stamps off our antique, solid wood coffee table the other day. “Yes, Mommy DOES like stickers, just not on the table.” Yikes.

i love being the mommy of a toddler. i have never enjoyed the little things more than i do now… like madeline telling a lady at the store that she (the lady) was nuts, or telling the guy pumping our gas (yup, we still do that in oregon) that she did not like him because he was scary. the best, though, is taking her to the bathroom at a restaurant and having her coming back out, loudly proclaiming to everyone, “i went poopy in the potty!”
