I could take pictures of eggs all the live long day. In the second shot, I placed my favorite dyed egg on the windowsill and asked Liv to give me her favorite one. As you can tell, her “baby bird” was already “hatching”.

I had a “special” swirl egg kit (turned out to be dye with a little vegetable oil on top) and while it did make swirly egg patterns, THIS is way cooler. How did you get the pink so dark? You must have soaked it overnight. :)

We didn’t do very many rubberband eggs, but the wider the band, the better the stripes. Seems to be a popular technique this year!

Lindsey, we followed instructions for “vibrant” eggs. Magic ingredient: vinegar. I’d say total egg dying time was less than an hour. Liv loved the project this year and was super cute dying her eggs.

Did you all steal the rubberband idea from real simple? :) ha

I have no clue where I saw the rubberband idea… somewhere online for sure.
