My New Favorite Thing

bags

I love these bags.
I love carrying tons of groceries in just a few sturdy totes.
I love not having wispy plastic bags floating around my kitchen.
I love the idea of reusing bags vs. simply recycling them.
I love always having totes on hand for trips to the library, Target, or even quick runs around the grocery store (no cart needed!).
I love the price tag of these bags in particular.

    And I love that purple!

We have those! We got ours at Wal-Mart, so they’re unfortunately only in black. I am sadly disappointed in Target’s version of the reusable bag, which appears to be torn pieces of their plastic bags, pressed into something sturdier and reusable. Not attractive.

    Yay, Rebecca…you go girl!

I, too, am loving the reusable bags. Mine are from the beloved Trader Joe’s. I really to get some more, cause I only have 3. And I drive myself crazy, because half the time, i forget to bring my bags with me when I go shopping! I’ve heard the tip to always keep a few bags on hand in the car to prevent that. How do you handle this problem?

Lindsey, I’ve seen those ugly Target bags, too! Yuck-o.

Yep, I think it’s best to keep them in your car. And even then, keep them visible in the backseat (versus the trunk where they’re easy to forget!).

FYI: The bags I linked to are all sold out. But there are similar bags available on Amazon, including ones made by the same company, that are still available.

Awesome idea – but if you ever to get loaded with plastic bags take them to your local library. We like to shove them at people when it’s raining to protect their books. ;)

Although they’re not nearly as attractive as the ones you found on Amazon, I see Russ’s Market grocery stores also have reusable bags for purchase, 3 for $5. I have to say, I do like the grains blowing in the breeze design.
