Baby Lumae

Posted on Jul 9, 2011 at 2:44 PM in Photography

Oh my goodness, I love these images of two weeks old Lumae and her family. She is such a sweet teeny punkin, which is probably accentuated by the fact she’s got two full-of-energy older brothers! It’s such a privilege to walk into someone’s home and capture their intimate family moments.

Thanks, Lindsay and Case, for having me over. Lumae is a beautiful baby.

Love, love, love. Especially the ones of the whole family. And the nursing ones! I wish so much I had photos of Adeline and me nursing. (I suppose it’s not too late, but it’d probably make most people uncomfortable to take photos of a breastfeeding toddler ;) )

The one on the porch with the boys looking at Lumae. Be still, my heart.

Awesome job, Rebecca! Especially love the family shot on the steps. So, so great. Also love the slightly grainy quality. Film or some other tricky photography maneuver? :-)

Btw, I owe you an email. Your responses were awesome! I just finished a marathon weekend and I’m hoping to get on that tomorrow. As always, so glad to see you using your incredible talent!
