On March 9, 2003, I posted my first blog entry. 327 posts and 2018 comments later and The Prairie Box is still alive and kicking.
It’s hard to remember my reasons for not wanting a blog back in 2003. My web designing husband knew it would be the simplest way for me to update our website and yet I really fought the notion of blogging. I was scared I’d reveal too much personal infomation (and I have) and that I’d reveal my foolish nature (and I have) and that I couldn’t keep it up… but I have. Heh. Despite the pitfalls of self-exposure to the world wide web, I’m really glad I’ve had this creative outlet. I’ve made new friends within Blogland. I’ve been able to share some talents God has blessed me with. I’ve actually learned quite a bit about my own personality, flaws and all.
It’s been a good two years.

Well, we’re glad you’re blogging, too (as I, ahem, speak on behalf of the World Wide Web).
It’s also a nice way for ol’ Cov pals to reconnect, to have another mama in the mix, to be reminded how glad I am I don’t live in a cold place. :) etc.

Happy Blogiversary! As another wife of a Web-Designing Husband, blogs are much easier to update and we appreciate Jeremy talking you into it!
Oh, and we have a degree(s) of separation- my little sister is married to a friend of your brother Andrew. He was at my BIL’s mom’s house for Spring Break.

Happy Anniversary to my blog role model. You should either be proud or ashamed of yourself that it’s yours and Charity’s fault that I got a blog of my own. I had never even heard of them until I started reading y’all’s. I am the young, impressionable one in the Horn Creek group, so I just do whatever y’all do anyway. :) Keep it up!
