Leaving a comment on a blog, only to realize moments too late that you’ve spelled something wrong or that your subject and verb are not in agreement. Argh! Then you have to decide whether to post another comment correcting yourself (thereby proving that you’re not a total dunce) or just leave it alone and hope the blog owner understands you were typing too quickly.
Maybe this is an English major-type pet peeve.

I have this problem WAY too often! AND, I wasn’t an English major, either, although I was, admittedly, often the group member who spent hours rewriting group papers because SOMEHOW people can get to college without a working knowledge of the English language!
I try to seek solace in the numerous grammatical and/or typing errors of others…
