Slowing Down

Posted on Feb 22, 2012 at 2:48 PM in Uncategorized

Right now life seems to be moving by too quickly. I want to slow it down, figure out one thing at a time, make peace with a few issues and then move forward with joy.

But I don’t feel like I can figure even one thing out. It’s more like I’m grasping at straws, trying to make sense of too many things in one brief moment. And then, by the end of the day, I feel like I’ve done nothing with excellence.

Must. get. unstuck.

If you do come up for air, I think we have an overdue coffee date…

Does sound familiar.Figuring out, grasping, making sense. I’ve been trying to meditate on Ps 131, in response.

Cool photo. Where was it taken?

Yes, Meghan! When I come up for air, coffee it is.

I took this shot in the Dallas/Fort Worth airport last month. There is a giant art maze of colored plexiglass, complete with new age-y/massage type music piped through it and lights that flash in the flooring. The shot of its reflection on the floor turned out cooler than all the others I took.
