A year gone by. Amazing. Yesterday (Madeleine Eve) Kristin and I were discussing all the things that we were doing a year ago and how exciting it was.
I’m just in awe at how a little person can grow in a year. It’s truly amazing. Last night she was practicing her -fast- running. Lifting her legs up a bit more and moving about twice as fast as usual… getting into stuff she shouldn’t at record speed. She also handed me her sippy cup for me to use and share. This is new. For a long time I’ve made a practice of faking bottle and sippy cup sips and then handing it to baby. Now she’s actually including me in her drinking activities. Hopefully this will translate into sharing. We’ll see.
I like that picture of Madeleine because you can see evidence of my having tickled her neck shortly before. She’s got her Daddy’s / Uncle’s / Nana’s (Aunt’s?) sensitive skin so you can see the marks my whiskers made! Ha, ha!
Anyways, let Liv know that Madeleine loves the swing and would love to go to the park anytime!
